CROSS LAKE MINERALS of Vancouver has appointed Tom Colbourne its VP mining. He was involved in the original development and operation of the QR gold mine in British Columbia from 1994 to 1997. Colbourne has also been named VP of mining by SELKIRK MINERALS for its Ruddock Creek base metal project.
ENTRE GOLD has appointed The Rt. Hon. Michael Howard as deputy chairman and a board member. He is the former leader of the Conservative Party in Britain as well as serving in several Cabinet positions in that country.
Dave Billard is now VP exploration for JNR RESOURCES of Saskatoon. He will also sit on the board.

The construction management team for the Tulsequah Chief mine development has been selected. REDCORP VENTURES of Vancouver has hired Al Polk as manager of engineering, Len Marcellus as manager of procurement and contracts, and Bryan Lundale as supervisor of occupational health and safety.
Colin Benner is joining the board of Vancouver-based SHERWOOD COPPER CORP. He served on Sherwoods advisory board since April of 2006. He is currently the vice-chairman of Lundin Mining.
TAHERA DIAMOND CORP. of Toronto elected Richard G. Molyneux to its board at its recent annual meeting. He recently retired from the position of president and CEO of De Beers Canada.
Terry A. Lyons is the new chairman of Vancouvers TTM RESOURCES. He is also chairman of Northgate Minerals and an officer of several other public companies.
Following its recent takeover by Zinifex Ltd., WOLFDEN RESOURCES of Thunder Bay, Ont., has replaced its directors. The board is now comprised of Ewan Downie, Anthony Larkin (chair), Anthony Barnes, Jean-Pierre Colin, Steve Filipovic, Stewart Howe and John Pollock.
