DIA BRAS EXPLORATION of Montreal has named Francois Auclair its new VP of corporate development and Eugene Schmidt its new VP of exploration, the job vacated by Auclair.

Christopher Zahovskis is the new COO at Vancouver's MINCO SILVER CORP. A graduate of Queen's University in mining engineering, he has nearly 30 years experience including many Cominco mines in the 1980s, as VP at Inco's Manitoba Operations, and as director of mining at Inco's Goro project. He was most recently VP of operations for a junior mining company.

Vancouver's NEVGOLD RESOURCE CORP. has made two appointments as it turns its focus toward exploration in the United States. Nathan Tewalt was named CEO and Thomas Chadwick was named president. Former president and CEO Richard Graham has stepped down.

NEW MILLENNIUM CAPITAL CORP. of Westmount, Quebec, has created a project management team for its KeMag and LabMag iron ore projects. Jean-Charles Bourassa becomes VP of mining. Dean Journeaux is now COO. Bish Chanda was named VP of marketing. The final member is Moulaye Melainine, VP of development. They are led by president and CEO Robert A. Martin.

David Jensen is the new president of SKYLINE GOLD CORP., based in Richmond, B.C. He graduated from the University of Waterloo with a BASc in engineering and later with an MBA from the University of British Columbia and an LLB in corporate and commercial law from the University of Calgary. Jensen recently served as VP corporate development with another junior mining company.

Vancouver-based VENTANA GOLD has named Richard W. Warke as chairman and CEO and Susan Rubin as CFO to replace Bruce Nicol, who is resigning. Warke has also been appointed chairman of WILDCAT SILVER and Christopher Jones its president and CEO.
