Vancouver-based FARALLON RESOURCES has named J.R.H. (Dick) Whittington as president and CEO. He has been working with the Hunter Dickinson Group since January of this year and has been Farallon's COO since the beginning of May.
Julian Kemp, CFO of ST ANDREW GOLDFIELDS, has stepped down to pursue other opportunities. The company is currently searching for a successor.
SOUTH-MALARTIC EXPLORATION of Val d'Or has appointed Roger Aubertin as exploration manager. He brings to the post more than 25 years of experience in the mining field working for companies such as Soquem, Noranda, Falconbridge, Pangea Goldfields and Barrick Gold. He also occupied management level positions with the ministries of Natural Resources of both provincial and federal governments. During the past seven years, Aubertin acquired international experience through several assignments in Latin America and Africa.
