MINING PEOPLE IN THE NEWS: Fire River Gold, Great Panther Silver, Mancusani Yellowcake, and NuLegacy Gold

Great Panther Silver of Vancouver made a number of management changes earlier this month. Martin Carsky has been appointed president of the company, and Robert Archer will retain the role of CEO. Jim Zadra replaces Carsky as CFO. Former COO Charles Brown has taken up the newly created role of senior VP corporate development. Graham Parsons, formerly general manager of the Guanajuato mine complex, has been promoted to the new position of VP operations and will be based in Mexico.

Toronto-based Mancusani Yellowcake has named Dr. Laurence Stefan, currently managing director in Peru, president and CEO, effective July 31, 2012.

James Anderson has been named CEO and a director of NuLegacy Gold Corp. in Reno, NV. He is a graduate of the University of Alberta. Dr. Roger Steininger will continue to rill the role of COO.
