Toronto-based GOLDCREST RESOURCES has retained the services of Rick Berg as exploration manager at its Youanmi project in Western Australia. Since graduating from Leiden University of the Netherlands in 1976, Berg has garnered considerable expertise and awards for his work in Australia and Africa.
James H. Coleman and A. Douglas Belanger are the new chairman and president (respectively) of GOLD RESERVE INC. in Spokane, Wash. Coleman has been a director of the company since 1994. Belanger, who joined Gold Reserve in 1984, has been executive VP since 1988.
TITANIUM CORP. of Toronto announced last week that the board of directors has approved the retention of Ralph Schatzmair (also of Toronto) to perform investor relations and marketing activities on behalf of the company.
