The video demonstrates how the method works and shows the development of this innovative, productive and cost effective method of mining narrow vein orebodies.
Rocmec has demonstrated the use of thermal fragmentation at its Russian Kid gold mine near Rouyn-Noranda, just east of the Quebec-Ontario border. By eliminating the use of explosives, the environmental problems associated with them are also eliminated. Rocmec has obtained numerous patents around the world for its process, and is introducing it to Latin America, Russia and Australia.
