MINING PEOPLE: Cameco and Richmont Mines

Cameco Corp. of Saskatoon has appointed Don Kayne as a director effective Jan. 1, 2016, until the next annual general meeting. He is president and CEO of Canfor Corp. and CEO of Canfor Pulp Products. Greg Chamandy will resign as executive chairman of Toronto’s Richmont Mines on Jan. 1, 2016, but will retain his seat on the board and the company’s technical and corporate responsibility committee. Rene Mario, currently an independent director, will be named non-executive chairman at that time.
