SASKATCHEWAN – Fission Uranium of Kelowna, BC, has drilled more high grade uranium mineralization at both ends of the 2.63-km trend at its Patterson Lake South project. The new zones are outside the Triple R resource estimate. The R1620E zone at the eastern end of the trend was intersected by two key holes:
  • PLS16-485 returned 10 metres at 5.76% U3O8 including 7.5 metres at 12.90% and
  • PLS16-489 cut 0 metres at 1.98% U3O8 including 4.5 metres at 5.00%.
The R840W zone (recently merged with the R600W zone) is at the western end:
  • PLS16-493 intersected-493 0 metres at 2.01% U3O8 including 2.0 metres at 5.77% and 1.5 metres at 5.39%.
