Nors has extended its exclusive representation of Metso throughout Western Canada, expanding coverage from British Columbia and Yukon to include Alberta, Saskatchewan and the Northwest Territories.
The expanded territory strengthens Nors' regional presence and aims to improve parts availability, aftermarket support and service delivery for customers operating across multiple provinces and remote locations. The company will leverage this broader footprint to provide more consistent service and faster response times throughout Western Canada.
Nors maintains its existing customer relationships while extending operational reach under the expanded agreement. The company expects the larger territory will enable more efficient service coordination and enhanced support capabilities across the region's mining and aggregates operations.
"This expansion reflects the strength of our partnership with Metso and our shared commitment to serving customers with excellence," Sudhanshu Singh, CEO of Nors Construction Equipment Canada, said. "By extending our representation across Western Canada, we are reinforcing our long-term growth strategy while ensuring continuity, proximity and high-quality aftersales support for our customers."
Metso views the expanded partnership as part of its strategy to strengthen distribution capabilities and customer support across key markets. The arrangement allows the Finnish technology company to provide more comprehensive coverage through an established dealer network with regional expertise.
Steve Cianci, VP Americas for distribution management and aggregates, emphasized the strategic importance of the expanded relationship. "Expanding our partnership with Nors reflects our strategy to build strong, capable distribution that delivers consistent, high-quality equipment and aftermarket support," Cianci said. "Together, we are well-positioned to enhance the customer experience and drive sustainable growth across Western Canada."
The agreement builds on the existing relationship between the two companies and reflects continued focus on aftermarket service, customer support and regional coverage expansion across Canada. Nors has represented Metso in British Columbia and Yukon, providing sales, service and parts support for the company's aggregates and minerals processing equipment.

Western Canada represents a significant market for mining and aggregates equipment, with operations spanning remote locations that require reliable service networks and parts availability. The expanded coverage area allows Nors to coordinate service delivery more effectively across provincial boundaries and respond more quickly to customer needs.
Nors operates globally across five business areas including trucks and buses, construction equipment, agriculture, aftermarket services and ventures. The company has built its presence over more than 90 years and represents leading global manufacturers across its business segments.
The expanded Metso representation aligns with Nors' strategy to strengthen its position in key markets while maintaining close customer relationships. The company operates in seven countries and focuses on delivering integrated services and equipment solutions designed to improve operational efficiency.
Metso develops sustainable technologies and end-to-end solutions for aggregates, minerals processing and metals refining industries.
