Eberhard (Ebe) Scherkus, president and COO, is a geological engineer. He has been with Agnico-Eagle since 1986, and has held his current position since 2005. Prior to that, Scherkus served as executive vice-president and COO, manager of the LaRonde Division, and other senior positions.
