Bucyrus introduces “The Complete Package”

Bucyrus International, Inc. has introduced a new program called The Complete Package (aka: B10). Through this program, customers can purchase a set of recommended replacement parts as a kit for their Bucyrus brand machines. When a customer requests a quotation for a mechanical component, he or she will be provided with a proposal for not only the requested component but also for a kit of related items needed for the successful installation of that mechanical part. The B10 kit helps relieve the customer of guesswork in determining what additional items should be purchased to support the installation.

Bucyrus’ Engineering and Technical Services groups are directly involved in determining which items should be recommended for inclusion in each B10 kit. Various kits may include bearings, bushings, seals, retainers, shims and hardware, but the kits only include those items necessary for an efficient and reliable installation of the requested component. The program supports minimized machine downtime by helping to insure that the customer has all the necessary parts required when conducting mechanical change-outs.
