Need share price info

Regarding “Canada’s golden guys” (CMJ, December 2002), the share price performance is missing. All miners, mining engineers and other technical professionals are interested in the share price, and there is absolutely no reason why that should not be included in a trade publication like this journal.

Where are the iron mines?

In your provincial review and accompanying map (CMJ, January 2003, Mining in Ontario), I was surprised and disappointed to note the total absence of references to iron ore. Have your authors forgotten about Steep Rock, Caland, Marmora, Kirkland Lake, Sudbury with its iron ore recovery plant? There are also numerous and immense iron formations throughout Ontario that may be candidates for future development. I would hope that your map will be updated, especially under “Major Mineral Deposits – Past Producing Mines”.
