Reader Rebuttal (April 01, 2006)
Pale males
I again enjoyed my Canadian Mining Journal and agree strongly with your January editorial ‘pale males’, advocating for greater inclusion in our industry. May I point out that your January issue was completely about Ontario, virtually every page, so much so it could be mistaken as the Ontario Mining Journal. Inclusion is a good thing. Looking forward to my next issue.

The January issue was our “Mining in Ontario” issue — no wonder that it had a lot of Ontario content. Similarly we published “Mining in Quebec” as the September issue and “Mining in BC” as the December issue last year. In each of these cases, we have worked with people from organizations in these provinces to put together a package of information, hopefully of interest to our readers. — Ed.
