Construction workers at the Rock Creek gold mine near Nome, Alaska, spent late August installing processing equipment inside the mill facility and enclosing the building before freezing temperatures hit the western coast of Alaska in September and October. NovaGold plans to have the mill and open pit mine commissioned by the end of 2007, with anticipated annual gold production of 100,000 oz.
