NORTHWEST TERRITORIES — Canadian Zinc Corp. has signed a second memorandum of understand (MOU) covering its Prairie Creek lead-zinc-silver project 200 km west of Fort Simpson. This agreement with the Nahanni Butte Dene Band is the second such MOU signed by Canadian Zinc and a First Nation in a month. In October a similar MOU was signed with the Liidlii Kue First Nation.

The Nahanni Butte Dene Band is a member of the Dehcho First Nations. Nahanni Butte is the closest community to the Prairie Creek mine and is located approximately 90 km southeast of the mine site. Nahanni Butte has a population of approximately 90 people.

Canadian Zinc continues to advance the Prairie Creek property toward production. Additional information is available at www.CanadianZinc.com.
