VANCOUVER YUKON ZINC CORP has been acquired by JINDUICHENG MOLYBDENUM GROUP and NORTHWEST NONFERROUS INTERNATIONAL INVESTMENT COMPANY. Yukon Zinc shares have been delisted from the TSX Venture Exchange.

Yukon Zinc controls the Wolverine zinc-silver project in the Yukon's Finlayson District. A favourable bankable feasibility study for a new mine was completed in 2007, and the project has all of its main development permits. An underground mine producing 1,7000 t/d of ore and a 1,400 t/d flotation mill are planned. The Wolverine deposit contains measured and indicated resources of 4.5 million tonnes averaging 12.16% Zn and 385.4 g/t Ag plus copper, gold and lead.
