TORONTO - Heath & Sherwood (1964) and the Beijing General Research Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (BGRIMM) have signed an agreement for the distribution of BGRIMM's analysis and instrumentation products to the worldwide customers and sub-distributors of H&S.
BGRIMM was established more than 50 years ago for the development of instrumentation, measurement and control of mineral processing plants within China. Since 2000, it has expanded outside of China as well. H&S will provide sales and marketing assistance in all areas of the world for the BGRIMM on-stream analyzers (BOXA-I XRF) and particle size monitors (BPSM-II). BGRIMM will provide the equipment and operating expertise to support installations around the world.
Other important products that H&S will market for BGRIMM include; flotation level instrument, self-cleaning pH meter, froth photo analyzer, mill load analyzing, reagent and flocculent preparation, as well as storage and feeding systems.
H&S is a Canadian custom equipment designer and manufacturer of mineral processing products established in 1927. Its product line includes automatic sampling systems for both slurry and dry products for metallurgical accounting and on-stream analyzer feed and tuyere products used in copper and nickel smelters.
