ONTARIO - There may be little gold left in the Hemlo camp, but METALCORP LTD. of Thunder Bay, Ont., is having success in the hunt for base metals 10 km southwest of the gold mines.

Hole No.51 intersected the BL14 zone, which assayed 3.6% Cu, 1.6% Zn, 68.0 g/t Ag and 0.1 g/t Au over 5.8 m (true width) from 70.1 to 75.9 m. Hole No.47 intersected the same zone from 114.5 to 117.5 m and assayed 4.9% Cu, 2.5% Zn, 77.2 g/t Ag and 0.6 g/t Au over 3.0 metres. This recent step-out drilling shows the VMS mineralization on the Big Lake project to be expanding and still remains open in all directions, according to MetalCORP.

Detailed drill results are available in the latest news at www.MetalCorp.ca.
