BASE METAL EXPLORATION Massive sulphide bonanza

ERITREA NEVSUN RESOURCES of Vancouver has encountered bonanza zinc grades at its Bisha massive sulphide project in this tiny African nation. The best intersection as 12.74% Zn over 83.9 metres. Over its 128.4-metre length, this hole (B-329) returned 8.4% Zn, 0.96% Cu, 0.32% Zn, 0.66 g/t Au and 49.1 g/t Ag.

Hole B-329 intersected two distinct zones of massive sulphides. The upper sphalerite-rich zone graded 0.72 g/t Au, 62.0 g/t Ag, 0.92% Cu, 0.49% Pb and 12.74% Zn over 83.9 metres. The second, copper-enriched zone returned 0.56 g/t Au, 22.9 g/t Ag, 1.05% Cu, 0.30% Pb and 0.30% Zn over 44.5 metres. Zinc assays are cut to 30%.
