FOURTH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON COMPUTER APPLICATIONS IN THE MINERALS INDUSTRY will be held Sept. 8-10, 2003 in Calgary, Alta. There will be something for almost everyone in the minerals industry. Major themes include advances in mine design, mine and machine automation, CIS, SPS, telecommunications, geotechnical applications, tailings, risk assessment, real-time management systems. Production system integration, and education. Special attention is being given to developments in oil sands and coal mining.
