TUMBLER RIDGE, British Columbia The Bullmoose coal mine shut down operations earlier this month. The mine, belonging to TECK COMINCO (61%), BHP BILLITON (29%), and NISSHO-IWAI (CANADA) (10%), produced over 34 million tonnes of metallurgical coal during its 20-year life.
