CAMPBELL RIVER, British Columbia The Quinsam coal mine will be closed for summer holidays between July 12 and August 11, 2003. A skeleton staff will remain on site to load coal trucks and barges, monitor the underground workings, and provide security. Coal deliveries to customers will be made by drawing down stockpiles.
