SANTIAGO, Chile Held every two years, Expomin is one of the most international mining events in the world. It draws equipment manufacturers, service providers, agents, distributors and end-users from throughout the continent and the world. In fact, Expomin is one of the most international mining events in the world. So mark your calendars for April 20-24, 2004 and make plans to go.

CAMESE is again organizing a Canadian Pavilion to showcase Canada’s goods and services suppliers. Exhibitors will be introduced to the Chilean mining industry, whose 2004 output is expected to grow by 5%. In the last annual Fraser Institute survey, Chile ranked first in geological and political factors in mining investment. In fact new investment in Chilean mining of US$5.5 billion is expected between 2003 and 2007. This is a major part of the US$25.9 billion investment expected for the region in a similar period.

To express your interest in a booth, shared booth or poster and sales lead generation at the Canada Pavilion at Expomin 2004, e-mail Cristina Dunn at dunn@camese.org.
