MONTREAL, Quebec The first FORUM MINIER, planned for the Inter-Continental Hotel in Montreal on Nov. 13-14, promises to deliver the facts about mining in Quebec. Those in all sectors of the mining industry, professionals such as engineers or consultants, and government representatives will all want to attend.

The program will cover aspects of acquiring a mining licence, creating a joint venture, the restructured exploration sector, the role of stock exchanges, legal niceties, provincial politics, the hot exploration plays, globalization of the industry, reclamation, and applicable environmental regulations. There will be more than enough information to satisfy anyone with property in Quebec or a desire to find new mineral deposits there.

Louis Doyle, Montreal VP of the TSX, will address the gathering. The conference is organized by Insight Information. Go to that web site, www.insightinfo.com, and follow the links to Conferences and choose the Mining category. A pdf brochure may be downloaded.
