COPPER-NICKEL EXPLORATION FNX sells four Quebec properties to Fieldex

QUEBEC Toronto-based FNX MINING plans to sell four of its Quebec exploration properties to FIELDEX EXPLORATION of Rouyn-Noranda, Que. The deal covers a 70% interest in the Midrim property, a 50% interest in the Temiscamingue property, a 50% interest in the Laforce property, and a 70% interest in the Belleterre property.

The four properties are currently owned by FNXs subsidiary, AURORA PLATINUM. Fieldex will issue 6.5 million common shares to Aurora in return for the interests. Fieldex will then be the sole owner of the Midrim, Temiscamingue and Laforce projects and 70% owner of the Belleterre property in which HINTERLAND METALS will hold the remainder. Aurora will retain a 2% NSR on the four properties.
