We take pride in the fact that at Suncor we share our success with our neighbours." Suncor is an Imagine Program "Caring Company" as defined by the Canadian Centre for Philanthropy. Last year Suncor focused its giving in three areas: environmental initiatives, science and technology education, and communities. The largest donations were given to the Northern Lights Regional Health Foundation, the Alberta Conservation Association, the Banff Centre for Continuing Education, and the Inn of the Good Shepherd. For the third year in a row Suncor, its employees and retirees also contributed more than $1 million to the United Way in Alberta and Ontario communities where it operates.
