CORPORATE NEWS – Goldcorp to sell sulphate producer

SASKATCHEWAN - GOLDCORP has decided to sell its SASKATCHEWAN MINERALS division and retained the services of Roman Friedrich & Co. to seek proposals from interested parties. Saskatchewan Minerals, located in Chaplin, Sask., is a leading North American producer of high-quality sodium sulphate.

Saskatchewan Minerals had revenues of US$12.7 million and an operating profit of US$800,000 in 2004.
