Daudin, a subsidiary of Dinkle Group, has announced the North American availability of its new remote input/output (I/O) series to help companies digitize existing systems.
In industrial settings, remote I/O solutions are used to extend the reach of central computers, reducing wiring, control panel space and material costs. With a network connection and power circuit, I/O systems can connect sensors, actuators and monitoring systems, aiding in workplace automation.
The new iO-GRID X fieldbus coupler modules support industrial ethernet protocols up to 100Mbps, with daisy-chain cabling expansion and USB-C firmware update support.
The series includes more than 20 types of I/O modules, ranging from analog and discrete models to temperature-resistant devices. The company said two power supply sizes are available to handle varying I/O counts. All models are CE and UL certified.
Customization options are available through hardware, firmware, software, labeling, branding and application-specific design capabilities. The company said it is “committed to collaborating with end users to create innovative solutions for intelligent and connected power, networking, and communications designs.”
Dinkle Group is a Taipei-based terminal block manufacturer with offices in more than 40 countries.
