ONTARIO - The NORTHWESTERN ONTARIO PROSPECTORS ASSOCIATION has selected CANADIAN ARROW MINES as the developer of the year for its Kenbridge nickel-copper project near Kenora, Ont.

Canadian Arrow president Kim Tyler accepted the award, saying, "It is particularly rewarding to receive such recognition from one's peers. A lot has been accomplished on Kenbridge in 2007 and it has been with the considerable contribution of other stakeholders." He thanked the Ontario Geological Service, the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines, the Ministry of the Environment, and the Ministry of Natural Resources as well as local suppliers, communities and the Treaty Three First Nations.

The Kenbridge project includes a 2,400-t/d mill, an open pit and an underground mine. The company expects to make the official production decision within the next few months. Meanwhile, the sourcing of a hoist, SAG mill, and other key capital items has begun. The headframe will be installed by the middle of this year and dewatering the shaft can begin.

Additional information, photos and maps of the Kenbridge project are posted at www.CanadianArrowMines.ca.
