ONTARIO - TEMEX RESOURCES of Toronto has identified diamonds within a till sample from its Wilson Lake property in the Temagami-New Liskeard area. The discovery was made in one sample collected a short distance down-ice from a cluster of magnetic anomalies. It is the first such find in the area.

There are three kimberlite indicator mineral trains on the Temex property. They are defined by pyrope and eclogitic garnet, Mg-ilmenite, chromite, Cr-diopside and olivine. The company says that perovskite and leucoxene alteration rims on ilmenite and orange-peel textures on pyrope garnet suggest short transport distances from bedrock sources.

Temex is preparing a ground follow-up program for the winter and spring of 2005 to better define potential kimberlite targets. This program will include magnetic and electromagnetic surveying and till sampling. Follow its progress at www.TemexCorp.com.
