ONTARIO/QUEBEC border Mining will start this month to collect a mini-bulk sample from the Timiskaming diamond project belonging to SUDBURY CONTACT MINES of Toronto. A 500-t sample will be taken from kimberlite 95-2. The project covers 33,000 ha straddling the Ontario/Quebec boundary along the TransCanada Highway. Work will begin about a week after appropriate permits are received, and take about two months.
