DIAMOND EXPLORATION NEWS Twin Mining Doubles Land Holdings

BRODEUR PENINSULA, Nunavut Buoyed by positive results of its latest till sampling program, TWIN MINING CORP. of Toronto has more than doubled its landholdings at Jackson Inlet. Basal till samples contained multiple diamond indicator minerals, as do the drill-proven Freightrain and Cargo 1 pipes.

During the 2002 season, Twin Mining drilled 268.2 m in kimberlite and tested 1,018 kg of core with caustic fusion analysis. Several stones were recovered, notably one weighing 0.0869 ct and another 0.0269 ct. The diamonds are mostly white and transparent.
