MONCTON, New Brunswick - MAJOR DRILLING GROUP INTERNATIONAL is pleased to announce that it has sold, to SANDVIK AB, the business and assets of its UDR GROUP subsidiary, including UDR's business units in Australia and Chile.
As part of the transaction, Major Drilling and Sandvik have signed a five-year strategic supply and co-operation agreement. Under the agreement Major will remain a preferred customer of UDR, with minimum purchase requirements for the first three years, approximating the levels of Major's purchases from UDR in the past several years, for drills, equipment, supplies, and services.
