YPSILANTI, MICHIGAN - INTERCLEAN EQUIPMENT has introduced the first automated wash system specifically designed for cleaning vehicles and equipment as well as controlling environmental track-out at open pit mines, coal mines, steel mills and quarries. These new Red Wolf HT-115 wash systems have already been installed at some of the largest operators, including VOISEY'S BAY NICKEL, DOFASCO and Carbontronics.

The new wash system makes heavy equipment service and maintenance much easier. A daily 30-60 second wash is all it takes to prevent heavy dirt accumulation and build-up from the lower details and under chassis of the equipment. Daily washing also puts a stop to transmission problems related to overheating caused by heavy dirt build-up.

The new Red Wolf HT-115 combines both an InterClean tire wash and a high-pressure wash system into one compact system. It can completely clean any street-legal vehicle, including the under chassis, and can easily be custom tailored for heavy equipment. The system can either use fresh water or be equipped with an InterClean recycling system. It operates automatically with the exception of a driver to move the vehicle through the wash system.

The Red Wolf system was created based on InterClean's experience at Ground Zero after 9/11. The equipment was used to prevent the spread of asbestos fibres from the site. See www.interclean.com for a video of the tire washers used at Ground Zero.
