Finning International was awarded a five-year, $150-million dollar contract last month for equipment maintenance and repair at Albian Sands Energy. Albian is the newest oil sands producer, having just got its Muskeg River mine and processing plant onstream. The contract covers 23 Caterpillar 797B 400-ton haul trucks and 28 other pieces of Cat support equipment purchased earlier this year from Finning.
