For over half a century the mining industry has relied on Atlas Copco. Now the exploration industry can benefit from the same expertise and reliability. The new Atlas Copco Exploration Products company offers a full line of surface and underground core drilling products.
Robert Fassl, general manger of exploration projects, says Atlas Copco's foray into this important segment of the mining industry didn't happen by accident: "It's the result of several carefully planned and executed acquisitions." The move began in 1993 with the purchase of Craelius and continued with the procurement of JKS Boyles in 1998. Atlas Copco swallowed Hobic in 2000 and Christensen in 2001. The combined enterprise offers premium underground drills, surface drills, in-the-hole tools, and diamond products for the mineral exploration industry.
Atlas Copco Exploration Products is now the single largest source of core drilling products in the world. Find out about the advantages of Atlas Copco quality, innovation and local support at www.atlascopco.com
