EQUITY OFFERING: Kinross Gold raises US$414.6M

TORONTO — Kinross Gold Corp. has completed a bought deal public offering of common shares, raising gross proceeds of US$414.6 million. More than 24.0 million common shares were sold for a price of US$17.25 each.

The company (www.Kinross.com) intends to use the net proceeds of the offering to enhance its capital position following the funding of recent acquisitions and for general corporate purposes.
