WEST FARGO, NORTH DAKOTA – The new tier 4-compliant Doosan DX63-3 and DX85R-3 excavators have been upgraded with a number of conveniences that give operators more precise controls, better force and overall enhanced productivity. Both models include a blade float, multi-function joysticks, colour instrumentation panel, Auto-Shift drive system, and standard rubber tracks.
The 6.4-tonne DX63-3 boasts as much horsepower as the 8.5-tonne DX85R-3. The engines in both models feature a high pressure, common rail fuel injection system, diesel oxidation catalysts (DOC) and a diesel particulate filter (DPF). New boom cylinder guards improve uptime on both models. Maintenance is minimized thanks to extended grease intervals.
The DX63-3 and DX85R-3 — like all new Doosan machines — are covered by an innovative 48-hour parts guarantee. The program guarantees that if a “machine-debilitating” part is needed, Doosan will deliver it directly to the end user within two business days or Doosan will pay for a replacement machine rental.
