The ground VLF conductors outlined by FLAG RESOURCES (1985) at Jess and Jones lakes near Sudbury appear to be closely related or perhaps part of the same conductor. The magnetometer survey of the area in general is quite flat, although the magnetic intensity increases to the north. The conductor axis goes south from Jess Lake and appears to extend below the hill between the lakes, then into Jones Lake.
Flag plans to drill the conductors this month. It will also continue exploration of the Jess Lake gold deposits from 900 feet to 2,000 feet below surface.
