Valerie Gold Resources has completed its 2002 drill program on the Tower Mountain property 40 km west of Thunder Bay, Ont. The program included mapping the outcrop, trenching and 1,042 m of core drilling. Valerie reports that several new gold zones were discovered. Two of these zones returned values of between 0.05 and 23.17 g/t Au across 1.5 m.

Valerie has entered into an option on the Bateman Lake property, west of the Tower Mountain claims. The company can earn a 100% interest by paying $40,000, issuing 160,000 common shares, and spending $500,000 for exploration. The deal is subject to regulatory approval.
