VAL D'OR, Quebec For most people extreme cold is an excuse to huddle in front of the fireplace with a mug of hot chocolate. Not so for the hardy teams from MAJOR and ORBIT DRILLING, and KALAHARI RESOURCES has thanked them for their efforts during the extreme cold so far this year. They are working on the Lamaque project, where Kalahari has optioned Teck Cominco's roughly 50% interest.

Drillholes are returning more than snow and ice, says Kalahari. Significant results from the new Forestel zone include high assays such as 1.27 opt Au over 1.0 ft, 0.611 opt Au over 2.0 ft, and 0.459 opt Au over 1.5 ft. The longest mineralized intersection measured 4.0 ft and assayed 0.029 opt Au. Further drilling of this zone is planned along strike and down dip. Results from the T-03 magnetic anomaly and Sixteen zone are available at www.kalahari-resources.com in the News section.

Kalahari has raised $500,000 through a non-brokered private placement of 2 million share/warrant units.
