NORTHWESTERN ONTARIO - Toronto-based NUINSCO RESOURCES has hired WARDROP ENGINEERING to obtain the permits needed for dewatering the Cameron Lake underground gold mine. Nuinsco earlier announced that it will spend $450,000 to improve road access to the site. The project is wholly owned by Nuinsco.

In 2004, the company estimated there are 572,000 tonnes of measured and inferred resources averaging 6.51 g/t Au and 1.01 million tonnes of inferred resources at 5.22 g/t Au.

In addition to the defined resource, Nuinsco says there is considerable potential to expand the deposit at depth. Diamond drilling done in 2003 and 2005 demonstrated that the gold mineralization extends to greater than 600 metres.
