ONTARIO - KODIAK EXPLORATION of Vancouver has released additional core assays, including one of over 1.5 ounces per ton Au, from its 100%-owned Hercules project near Thunder Bay. Hole HR07-29 cut 43.1 g/t Au over a minable width of 2.0 metres, including 134.4 g/t Au over 0.8 m. Hole HR07-31 returned 12.6 g/t Au over 1.4 metres.

The two holes noted were part of a shallow, widely spaced program. They were drilled 1,340 metres apart on the same quartz vein structure and confirm the continuity of the zone, says Kodiak. The company continues to drill to test the Golden Mile and parallel structures both at depth and along strike.

The company's website, www.KodiakExp.com, contains some exquisite photos of visible gold from Hercules samples.
