QUEBEC – Eagle Hill Exploration Corp. has updated the resource estimate for its Windfall Lake property in the Abitibi greenstone belt and reports large increases. Contained gold in the inferred resource is up 126% to 538,000 oz at a 31% higher grade of 8.76 g/t Au. In the indicated category, contained gold is up 61% to 822,000 oz at a 10% higher grade of 20.05 g/t Au.

Or in more conventional terms: 1.67 million tonnes at 10.05 g/t Au in the indicated resource and 2.91 million tonnes at 8.76 g/t in the inferred category.

Eagle Hill said in a news release that more than 80% of the resources it has defined lies in an area of 450 x 850 metres and within 500 metres of the surface. Mineralization remains open along strike and at depth. The company continues to drill at Windfall Lake in hopes of establishing open pit reserves. An area of deeper mineralization has been drilled, but this material is not yet included in the resource estimate.
