ONTARIO - KIRKLAND LAKE GOLD has reported its best intersection so far35.0 g/t Au (uncut) over 18.6 mfrom New South mine drill core. This new mine area contains at least 15 mineralized zones including the No.7 Break 160 m south of the existing workings of the Macassa gold mine.

The reported intersections occurred 1,515 m below surface in material characterized as a structurally controlled quartz breccia vein with low sulphide content. The hole ended in mineralization.

Based on recent and previous drill results, geologists at KLGold believe the New South zone extends to the south, in the direction of recently acquired property. The four new claims lie between the Macassa mine and the Amalgamated Kirkland property of QUEENSTON MINING; they are subject to a joint venture agreement.
