NORTHERN QUEBEC New extensions to the gold mineralization at the Canadian Malartic property have been announced by OSISKO EXPLORATION of Montreal. Drilling is underway to test the potential to resume production as a large, bulk-tonnage mine 26 km west of Val d'Or.

Three of the holes intersected sediment-hosted mineralization followed by porphyry-hosted mineralization at depth (approximately 300 metres). They returned intersections of 77 metres grading 0.70 g/t, 147 metres at 1.02 g/t and 269.5 metres at 1.04 g/t Au. The drilling is targeted west of the F zone.

The former Canadian Malartic mine is 100%-owned by Osisko, which estimates the property contains over 500,000 oz of gold (www.Osisko.com).
