BRITISH COLUMBIA -- Vancouver-based CONSOLIDATED SPIRE VENTURES has found what it believes is a new epithermal gold system near Merritt. The company says the system has a minimum strike length of 3.5 km at its Prospect Valley gold project.
Spire reported that 10 of the 12 holes it has drilled since May 10 intersected epithermal stockworks, veining, banding and zones of breccia over 8.0- to 50.0-m widths. Partial results from one hole assayed 9.54 g/t Au over 1.0 m. The photos at www.SpireVentures.com includes split core and exploration activities at Prospect Valley.
