TIMMINS, Ontario GEODEX MINERALS of Vancouver and MONETA PORCUPINE MINES of Timmins have created a 50:50 joint venture agreement covering the Potter Stock lode gold project. The first phase of exploration will include soil geochemical sampling, followed up by ground geophysical methods.
The Potter Stock claims cover about 3,900 ha in a virtually unexplored area of the Abitibi Greenstone Belt. They are said to contain structures similar to the Porcupine and Kirkland Lake gold camps. These include strike changes of major east-west-trending crustal fault zones often located along the axis of sedimentary belts, the development of numerous splays, and intersects with north to northwest faults or lineaments, says Geodex.
Updates are available from Geodex investor relations Christopher Anderson (604-689-7711 or 888-999-3500) or Moneta Porcupine CEO Fran Yungwirth (705-264-2296).
