FREDERICTON, New Brunswick A new discovery at the Golden Ridge property has Vancouver-based FIRST NARROWS RESOURCES hoping to move the project forward. A drillhole collared in a new zone of epithermal arsenopyrite-pyrite mineralization intersected a potential gold zone beneath a basal till geochemical anomaly. The mineralization extends 20 metres along the hole, and core is currently being logged and sampled.
First Narrows believes that the basal till geochemical anomalies are clear indications of underlying gold mineralization. This latest discovery lies below an anomalous till zone that assayed 1.66 g/t Au. A technical report covering the Golden Ridge project is posted at www.uno.ca.
The company has hired Golder Associates to provide environmental services to advance the project.
