VAL D'OR, Quebec The No.16 zone is indeed "sweet", returning "very encouraging values" over 146 ft, says KALAHARI RESOURCES. Hole SX-03-07 intersected a zone of highly mineralized granodiorite porphyry from 720 ft to 866 ft below the surface. The three highest grade sections were 7 ft of 0.42 opt Au, 5 ft of 0.339 opt Au and 11 ft of 0.319 opt Au. Kalahari is working on an induced polarization survey to map the intrusion before drilling is resumed.

Kalahari has optioned TECK COMINCO's 53% interest in the Lamaque project. The property covers 2,500 acres subject to a joint venture with GOLDEN POND RESOURCES (50.23%) and another 250 acres subject to a joint venture with TUNDRA GOLD MINES (49.77%). The former Lamaque mine produced 4.5 million oz of gold between 1935 and 1985.
